The official website finally announced the name and date of the next album of Placebo: this is "Battle For The Sun", scheduled for the 8th of June 2009.

There will be a worldwide exclusive play of the title track 'Battle For The Sun' this week on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show at around 7.00pm on Tuesday 17th March so make sure you tune in and listen out for any special announcements.

Moreover, you can already pre-order a limited Deluxe edition of the album in the PlaceboStore.

Finally, the group embarks on a remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Indeed, they are going to hide 5 Golden Laminate passes inside 5 of the Box Sets - 1 per continent.
